Places to watch: Philadelphia Union at Deportivo Saprissa
Head out to one of these venues to watch the game with fellow Union fans
The boys in blue are about to accomplish a first in franchise history, playing in the 2021 Concacaf Champions League. The Philadelphia Union will take on Deportivo Saprissa in Leg One Wednesday night. Kickoff for the nationally televised game is at 6 p.m. eastern time.
After only playing in 4 preseason matches, the U will find themselves across from a team that is already deep in their schedule. While they are deep into their season, recently they have been on a winless funk. Dropping their last seven matches. Their last win was back on February 21. Since that win they have only scored 4 times with 5 draws. Saprissa is also 16 games into their season.
No matter the outcome of Wednesday’s game, Leg Two will happen at Subaru Park on April 14.
