The Philadelphia Union II dropped a 2-0 result to USL Championship side Loudoun United on the road on Saturday after losing to Pittsburgh Riverhounds 4-2 the previous week in friendly competition.

The two recent road trips to USL Championship opponents started started off strong for U2 when they built a 2-0 first half lead at Highmark Stadium on May 1 with goals from trialist Ryan Kingsford off an assist from Mani Diop and Jack Jasinski, who leads the team in goal’s this spring with four. The Riverhounds stormed back with four second half goals to win 4-2 in their final preseason tune-up.

The boys in blue hit the road to Virginia on Saturday. Very little is known about the match beyond the 2-0 score for the home side.

The squad currently doesn’t have any games scheduled but first team head coach Jim Curtin said last week that they were arranging a friendly with an NYCFC reserve side.
