Dániel Gazdag has arrived and could make his Philadelphia Union debut as early as tomorrow in Washington D.C.

The Hungary international had his first training session with his new team on Saturday morning at Subaru Park ahead of Sunday night’s game at DC United.

He will be available for selection in the match, which kicks off at 7:15 p.m.

The 25-year-old, who had 13 goals and 6 assists in 30 matches in the recent campaign, was recently acquired for a reported $1.8 million transfer fee from Honved. He is occupying an international spot on the Union’s roster. The Union acquired an additional spot for $200,000 in general allocation money from Sporting Kansas City last month.

Union head coach Jim Curtin targeted May 23 as the potential date for Gazdag’s debut after his signing was announced. The Union host the Portland Timbers on March 30 before a three-week international break.

Gazdag is on the provisional 30-man roster for Hungary’s team competing in the European Championship. Their first match in the group stage is June 15 against Portugal.
