Happening now, soccer fans are able to vote for this year’s MLS All-Stars. Unlike previous years where the ballot was set by reporters, this year the ballot is going to be selected by basically crafting a fantasy roster.

The league announced fans will select 11 players from seven specific positions. Those positions are goalkeeper, right back, center back, left back, defensive midfielders, attacking midfielder, and forward/winger. To qualify for the ballot, players must have appeared in at least 50 percent of matches this season at the time the ballot was created on July 10.

26 MLS players will make up this year’s team. The players can make the team in three different ways. As explained above 12 players will be decided by a combination of MLS Players, fans and the media. The top player in each spot will make the roster, the 12th player will be the next player with the highest total amount of votes.

12 players will be selected by MLS All-star head coach Bob Bradley and members of the host team, Los Angeles football club. As in previous years the MLS Commissioner will also select 2 players to be part of the team.

Voting is currently underway, you can either use the MLS App or visit MLSsoccer.com. Fan voting will end on Wednesday, July 21 at 11:59 PT.
