90+6’ – With that the ref blows the whistle to make the game final.
90+3’ – And that is the nail in the coffin for this game as United is able to get another goal here.
90’ – We will have at least 6 minutes of stoppage time.
86’ – Right off the restart Burke goes down near the bench and the trainer is right on the pitch. Replay shows he made an awkward fall as he slips on the pitch. The U are also out of subs.
85’ – Fontana comes on and replaces Bedoya. DC makes their final 5th sub here this evening.
80’ – Corner for the Union, it is driven towards the near post and Glesnes flicks it straight at the goalkeeper.
78’ – DC makes a triple sub here.
73’ – Double change here for the Union Mbaizo and Aaronson come into the game. The pair are replacing Powell and Monteiro.
66’ – Game is stopped as Najar goes down grabbing his face. Incase you did not see it, there was barely any contact with Flach.
60’ – Union making a switch here bringing in Sullivan and Burke for Gazdag and Przybylko.
59’ – Elliott trips up a player as he is trying to get back and earns a yellow, he will now miss the next match against New England.
49’ – United cross and a great save by Blake. However the second chance shot goes right to the back of the net. DC United up by 1.
46’ – The second half is underway with a kick from the Union.
45+3’ – As Blake kicks it back into play, the whistle is blown for halftime. Teams head to the locker room at 8:56 PM.
45’ – We will have at least 3 minutes of stoppage time.
43’ – After a lot of crosses from multiple sides of the box the Union are not able to really get a chance off.
36’ – Off the whistle Kamara steps up and converts the PK. Game is leveled at 1.
34’ – And he points to the spot. On the review it looks like Powell did not get the ball at all and made contact on the follow through. Blake now is now up and attempting to stop his 3rd penalty shot of the season.
32’ – Play is stopped as Reyna is still on the ground. Now after a conversation with the VAR ref. The ref is now looking at the sideline monitor.
28’ – Blake adding another save highlight to the career reel. One handed save and it wouldn’t have matter as the flag came up at the end of the play.
22’ – Bedoya on the run and is trying to cross it to Gazdag but it goes off a DC player and into the back of the net. Union up 1-0.
17’ – Union earn their first corner of the game here. The kick amounts to nothing.
15’ – Gressel is unmarked near the top right side of the box and calls for the ball. He gets a shot off but it is saved by Blake. DC’s corner kick amounts to nothing.
13’ – Corner is played short and dribbled into the penalty area and a low pass gets passed Blake and into the net. However the goal is waived off for offsides.
12’ – Glesnes comes up with a key move to keep this game leveled. United earns a corner here.
10’ – First ten minutes and the U are playing a lot of defense here. They are having a trouble trying to get the ball out of their defensive half.
1’ – Union in the electric blue kits and the game got underway at 8:08 PM
