The Philadelphia Union announced an exciting new addition to its local broadcast lineup just in time for the new season. Starting this week, the team will have a new weekly TV show called “Union Insider,” airing on PHL17.

This show will give fans an exclusive look into the latest news, gameplay breakdown, and analysis of the team’s upcoming opponents. In addition, there will be plenty of behind-the-scenes content, giving fans an intimate look at what goes on both on and off the field.

Philadelphia Union President, Tim McDermott, is excited about the new show, saying, “The creation of weekly TV programming is a natural next step in our evolution and a great way to deepen the engagement our fans have with soccer and the Union.”

And that’s not all – former Union sideline reporter Marisa Pila will host the show alongside former Union stars Sebastien Le Toux and Sheanon Williams. With their in-depth team knowledge, these hosts will provide top-tier analysis.

While Union soccer has been on PHL17 since 2017, fans will have to watch the games on Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass due to the league’s overall broadcast deal with Apple.

The new show starts this week, February 23rd,at 9:00 P.M. It will run weekly throughout the season.
