Philadelphia Union will play at Minnesota United in fourth round of U.S. Open Cup

The Philadelphia Union will begin their 2023 U.S. Open Cup campaign in the Twin Cities.

The Union drew Minnesota United for the fourth round match on Tuesday, May 9 at 8:30 p.m. eastern.

The trip to St. Paul will be part of a Western Conference swing with a game at Colorado Rapids to follow on May 13. The Union visit Red Bull Arena for a league game on May 6.

The Union traveled to Orlando City SC for their fourth round match last year and were knocked out by the eventual Open Cup champions.

The Union last visited Allianz Field in October 2022 and lost 3-2. They beat the Loons there 3-2 in June 2019 on a late Auston Trusty goal.
