Jose Martinez named to MLS All-Star roster
The Philadelphia Union’s enforcer No. 6 was named an MLS All-Star, the team announced on Tuesday. The 2023 MLS All-Star game, which will be played on Wednesday, July 19 against Arsenal, will be Martinez’ first.

Twenty-six players will represent Major League Soccer against English Premier League side Arsenal for the 2023 MLS All-Star Game, held July 19 at D.C. United’s Audi Field.

Hernandez is in his fifth season with Toronto FC as a front-office staff member. He spent the past two seasons (2021 and 2022) as an assistant general manager, player personnel and engagement strategy, assisting with personnel recruitment and player acquisitions.

USMNT to face Uzbekistan, Oman in September friendlies
Uzbekistan and Oman will reportedly make the trip to the United States this September for friendlies on Sept. 9 and 12 respectively, Univision reported during Saturday’s Gold Cup match vs. Jamaica. St. Louis CITY SC’s CITYPARK and Minnesota United’s Allianz Field will play host to the friendlies, according to the report.
