Vancouver Whitecaps to sign Richie Laryea on loan from Nottingham Forest
Laryea played in 18 games for Toronto FC this season until his loan from Forest expired June 30. He’s scored 10 goals in 95 matches for the Reds over the past five seasons.
Whitecaps sign D Ranko Veselinovic to extension
The 24-year-old joined Vancouver in February 2020 on a one-year loan from Serbian SuperLiga club FK Vojvodina, and the club later acquired him on a permanent transfer. Since 2020, he leads the Whitecaps with the most starts (101) and games played (109).
Charlotte FC Sign Defender Jere Uronen
Ahead of the 2021/22 season, Uronen left Genk for Stade Brestois 29 of France’s Ligue 1. At the French club, he made 21 appearances over a year-and-a-half before joining FC Schalke 04 on loan in January 2023. He made 11 appearances in the Bundesliga for Schalke in half a season.
