Full Time

90+5′- Red Bulls make a change here to bring on Morgan to replace Harper. They obviously wanted to bring him on for the kicks. Because after the play resumes, we hear the whistle. It is the second straight game the Union will need to win Penalty Shoot-out to move on.

90+3′- Bueno commits a foul by pulling down a NY player, he earns a yellow for the move. The Red Bulls play their set piece short and it ultimately goes out for a goal kick.

90′- We will have at least 5 minutes and if the game stays leveled, we will be heading to kicks from the penalty mark to see who moves on.

88′- Free kick for Philly here. The kick is around 45 yards out. Wagner’s service is sent in and falls to Glesnes, who chests the ball but his cross goes out for a goal kick.

86′- 8th corner of the night coming up for the Union. They earned after a nice long distance shot from Harriel. Wagner’s shot goes near the spot, the ball falls to Carranza but he isn’t able to get the right touch off.

82′- Mbaizo, who is standing on the end line with the other subs, was shown a yellow. Must have used the wrong words after Carranza pushed a Red Bull player down near the flag.

78′- After a little dust up on the field, yellow cards were shown to the Red Bulls Amaya and the Union’s Martinez.

75′- Wagner takes the legs out of the Red Bull player, he earns a yellow. When the card is shown Wagner is pissed, due to a similar play down at the other end, when a dead bull player tried to stop Carranza from

68′- WE ARE LEVELED!!!! The Union had a corner from the far side, the service is sent near the penalty spot and Harriel jumps up and his header beats the goalkeeper.

61′- Great over the top ball by the Union. Carranza’s shot is block, Bueno picks it up goes around the goal keeper and his shot is blocked.

58′- Glesnes nearly levels the match with a sweet kick, but it just goes over the net.

57′-  NY Double switch bringing on Barlow and Duncan. They replaced Manoel and Fernandez.

55′- Double Switch here Gazdag will becoming out of the game. He is replaced by Uhre. Leon Flach comes out and is replaced by Bueno.

51′- Gazdag goes down without contact and the training staff is out to take a look at his leg. Replay shows his knee hits the ground as he slides to try and get on the end of a ball.

46′- The game gets back underway. No changes were made by either side.

HALF

45+2′- The whistle is blown and the teams head to the locker room.

45+1′ – We will have at least 2 minutes of stoppage time.

45′- Union with a corner kick here. The service is from the far side. It is sent to the front of the 6 yard box and headed out by a Red Bulls player. The second chance is sent in and blocked by the Red Bulls.

41′- Free kick for the Union from a few yards above the the left side of the box. Wagner’s cross is towards the 6 yard box but the header goes off the wrong way and out of the box.

38′- Great switch by the Union to get Wagner on the left side. However, as has been the first half, they are just slows with finding people as the cross goes into empty space at the top of the box.

33′- Glesnes gets the ball about 35 yards out, the stadium does its thing of SHOOT IT, and he skies it.

32′- The Union try to capitalize on a miscue by the dead bulls, but Gazdag’s shot goes wide of the net.

15′- Another turner over in the midfield area and the Red Bulls nearly went up 2, but the shot is wide of the net.

11′- Leon Flach in his first appearance in the Leagues Cup, takes a chip shot but it goes over the net.

4′- Goal for the people in red. NY picked up a turnover at midfield and comes down the right side into the penalty area, drawing two defenders and Blake, NY hits a low cross to a running player who puts it into the net.

2′- Now we have the dead bulls commit a foul on Lowe, who is holding his midsection and looks to be a little but uncomfortable.

1′- The game hets underway and the U are in the dark blues and are defending the river end. An early free kick for the dead bulls and its defended well by Philly.
