Union Academy grad Logan Oliver transferring to Pitt

Logan Oliver and Jackson Gilman are reuniting as teammates at Pitt.

Oliver is transferring to Pitt from Indiana.

Oliver and Gilman were teammates with the Philadelphia Union Academy and Philadelphia Union II. Gilman will be entering his junior season this fall at Pitt having started 39 games on the back line. Oliver didn’t crack the lineup at Indiana his first year last fall.

Pitt lost to James Madison at home in the NCAA Tournament last season after making it to the College Cup and losing to Indiana in the semifinal in 2022.

A Baltimore, Md. native, Oliver captained the Union U17 squad that won the MLS Next Cup in 2022. He joined the Union Academy at the U13 age group.
