EPSL rebrands as American Premier Soccer League

Eastern Premier Soccer League has rebranded to American Premier Soccer League, expanding the potential footprint of the growing league that is home to 10 area clubs competing in the Delaware River Conference.

The league has 56 teams competing across six conferences this season and is now aiming to expand that reach beyond the region. The local conference includes

“We’ve got a new name, but the game stays the same!” a social media post stated. “The Eastern Premier Soccer League is now the American Premier Soccer League (APSL). Bigger, better, and ready to take American soccer to the next level!”

The Philadelphia-based Casa Soccer League – which has grown to include leagues in Boston and Lancaster, Pa. is an affiliate of the APSL and has a promotion setup with the Delaware River Conference from its Casa Select division with plans for relegation once the Delaware River Conference has its full allotment of teams.
