Mikael Uhre scored a brace off the bench to lead the Philadelphia Union to a 3-1 come-from-behind win Saturday night at Subaru Park.

Uhre put the Union in front with a goal in the 89th minute and sealed all three points with another in the 95th minute. Tai Baribo’s 15th of the season put the Union on level terms in the 64th minute to cancel out Rafael Navarro’s 37th minute opener.

The win spoiled the homecoming of Downingtown native Zack Steffen, who did everything he could to keep his hometown team off the board with an 8-save performance.

The Union’s xG on the night was 4.8 to Colorado’s 1 but it wasn’t until Kai Wagner whipped in a cross to the back post that Baribo was able to put in that the home fans had a goal to celebrate. The goal for Baribo came after an MVP performance in the All-Star Game on Wednesday for the Israeli international.

With the win, the Union move back into first place both in the Eastern Conference and the Supporters’ Shield race with 50 points, one point clear of FC Cincinnati in both. They’ll return to league play hosting Toronto FC on August 9 with a friendly slated for next Saturday against Eintracht Frankfurt at Subaru Park.
