Union announce roster decisions for 2026

The Philadelphia Union officially said goodbye to Chris Donovan, Isaiah LeFlore, Nick Pariano and Oliver Semmle on Wednesday with the announcement of roster decisions for the 2026 season.

Donovan, LeFlore, Pariano and Semmle had their options declined by the club. Tai Baribo and Nathan Harriel both had options picked up and Olwethu Makhanya had options for 2026 and 2027 picked up, a move that was announced by the club earlier in the day.

Alejandro Bedoya, Ben Bender, George Marks and Mikael Uhre are out of contract but the team is still in negotiations on potential new deals.

The moves announced Wednesday leave the roster at 22 players for the 2026 season. That includes David Vazquez, who San Diego FC has an option to purchase. The deadline on that option is Sunday.
