Vereinigung Erzgebirge hosted Christos FC Sunday afternoon for a Region 1 Amateur Cup quarterfinal and took advantage of a short-handed Christos team with a 5-1 win to advance to the semifinal. Derek Antonini had a hat trick and Bobby Hennessey and Conner Budniak added goals for the hosts. Christian Correra scored for Christos.
