Villanova’s unbeaten season and 340-minute scoreless streak at home were snapped in a 1-0 loss to FDU on Monday afternoon at Higgins Soccer Complex. A lively crowd of 926 was on hand on a sunny afternoon but the visitors spoiled the party with a 72nd minute goal from Ryan Kopay. Villanova goalkeeper Alex Yagudayev made six saves on the day after a 13-save performance in a 1-0 win over Fordham last week.

Villanova fell to 3-1-1 on the season with the loss while FDU remained unbeaten at 4-0-1.
