Penn State Brandywine made history on Thursday hosting their first ever ranked opponent with Rowan coming to visit the campus in Middletown Township.

Rowan was fresh off a dramatic win over nationally ranked Swarthmore the night before.

Sara Wiedeman went to work early for the Profs, creating a number of chances but it was Cailey Bozinis who found the breakthrough in the 20th minute before Wiedeman scored her third of the season three minutes later. Angela Oliveto’s third of the season put the game out of reach and several reserves got chances to tack on. Alexis Dzierzgowski had a brace and an assist, Sydney Murphy a goal and an assist and Alodia Traenkner also found the back of the net for the Profs as they improved to 3-0.
