Central Bucks East (8-0-1)
The Patriots continue to pick right up where they left off last season as state champions with a win over defending district champions Pennridge and a win on Saturday over Conestoga.

Shawnee (5-0-0)
The Renegades had a huge 1-0 win over Paul VI to continue their perfect start to the season. It was Paul VI’s first loss since they fell to Shawnee in the 2024 South Jersey Coaches Cup.

Paul VI (4-1-0)
Maddie Zaun’s game-winner for Shawnee was just the second goal the Eagles – 2025 Coaches Cup and state champions – have conceded this season.

Downingtown West (5-0-1)
After a draw with Strath Haven, West has five straight wins and showing the kind of dominance that led them to a Class 4A state title two years ago. They are 4th in the state poll, one behind East but sixth in the District 1 rankings.

Downingtown East (6-0-1)
East is coming off a strong week that included a scoreless draw with West Chester East and a 2-0 win over the always tough Owen J. Roberts.

Lower Moreland (6-0-1)
Lower Moreland had a solid win over Springfield Township this week and tops the Class 3A state coaches poll. Their one blemish came against a very good Harriton team.

Methacton (7-0-0)
Methacton is ranked second in Class 4A in District 1 but not getting any love from the coaches poll despite a perfect 7-0-0 start to the season.

Episcopal Academy (4-1-2)
The Churchwomen are off to a 2-0 start in Inter-Ac play and coming off a 2-0 win over Notre Dame Prep in Maryland. They are led by sensational junior goalkeeper Taylor Moore and seniors Presley Wahl and Devon Stewart but have a very deep bench.

Agnes Irwin (4-1)
Since a 2-1 loss to Conestoga, Agnes Irwin’s high octane attack under new head coach Ryan Griffith has outscored opponents 20-2.

Nazareth Academy (4-2)
Nazareth pulled off something Monday no team in the Philly Catholic League has done in three years: beat Archbishop Wood in a regular season match. Nazareth now leads the league in the early going with a 2-0 start in league play.

Honorable Mention

Delaware County Christian (7-1-0)
The Knights had a tough night Monday at Springfield Delco in suffering their first loss of the season but it’s been a banner year in Newtown Square so far for both soccer teams. Arden Silver scored a winner to beat Dock Mennonite 1-0 last week and the Knights followed it up with a 1-0 win over West Chester East. They’re ranked No. 1 in the Pennsylvania Class A coaches poll this week.

Boys

Conestoga (6-0-0)
Conestoga is off to a perfect start and their latest win over 2025 state finalist West Chester Henderson on Saturday has helped propel them to the top of the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association Poll and in the District 1 rankings for Class 4A.

Salesianum (4-0-0)
The Sallies are off to a commanding start to the season, outscoring opponents 25-0. They beat N.J. rivals Kingsway 3-0 to kick off a strong 2-0 week last week.

Lower Merion (6-0-0)
The Aces are off to a great start after posted their third straight league win over Springfield and blowing out Upper Merion 6-0 on Saturday. The Aces mix of senior leadership and talent and young and skillful underclassmen looks like the right recipe for a deep run.

Pennsbury (6-0-0)
Pennsbury is off to a perfect start and has posted solid wins over PCL leaders Holy Ghost, a 5-2 win over Council Rock South and a 2-1 win over Neshaminy.

Springfield Township (6-0-0)

St. Augustine Prep (4-2-0)
Prep has the two losses but they’re both to North Jersey powers in Seton Hall Prep and Delbarton but are currently the highest ranked South Jersey squad in the NJ.com rankings.

Episcopal Academy (5-0-0)
The Churchmen are off to a great start – not counting their 4-1 showcase loss to Delbarton – and are ranked fourth in the coaches poll.

Holy Ghost Prep (4-2-1)
Ghost’s only losses this season were one-goal losses to Conestoga and Pennsbury and they started the season with as scoreless draw with Neshaminy but are off to a 4-0-0 start in the Philadelphia Catholic League.

Delaware County Christian (6-0-0)
The Knights, No. 1 in the coaches poll, are off to another perfect start to the season after coming up short in last year’s Class A final. Senior Justin Ma is scoring goals in bunches and goalkeeper Cody Dill is keeping them in games. They face rivals Faith Christian (3-0-1) in a big contest today.

Father Judge (6-0-1)
Judge is racking up wins out of conference and off to a 2-0-1 start to the PCL season. Their lone blemish was a 1-1 draw with La Salle. They’re ranked 7th in the latest state coaches poll.

Honorable Mention

West Chester East (6-0-1)
They aren’t getting a ton of attention right now but West Chester East is undefeated and the team to beat in West Chester after a strong 2-0 win over Rustin earlier this season.
