How to Watch: Bethlehem Steel FC vs Harrisburg City Islanders

Chris and I talked about the stories heading into HCI v BST III here, but we forgot some important information.

Strapped for time? Here’s the big headlines coming into the third Keystone clash this year. Harrisburg are winless in their last nine games, and have been seemingly handcuffed due to Aaron Wheeler’s somewhat injury prone season/playing hurt a good bit this year. Their last win came in April against Bethlehem so maybe a familiar foe will see the City Islanders find their winning ways again.

Bethlehem have been red hot in June. After a chippy draw against Ottawa at home, Steel FC went on a road trip (where I was happy with four points) and have knocked off both Saint Louis and Red Bull II. Seku Conneh has been lighting it up, and Adam Najem had a bit of a coming out party Friday against his former club. Steel’s been unable to beat Harrisburg in general, let alone on the City Island, but given the trajectory of the two teams, this might be a good time to start.
