Orlando City plans to appeal Gallese’s second yellow card, which the club considered to be “ridiculous.” The Lions will argue that the image on VAR was not “obvious and clear” enough to call encroachment and issue a yellow card.

Mexico teen star Alex Alcala, 15, signs for LA Galaxy
Alcala, who can represent the United States or Mexico, is part of Mexico’s Under-16 youth national team and will play in the Galaxy’s academy under Juan Carlos Ortega. He hadn’t previously signed with a professional club, instead opting to play locally in California.
