Marcello Mazzola had a hat trick to lead the Philadelphia Union U17s to a 3-1 win over Camden County College in a friendly Saturday afternoon at the Power Training Complex in Chester.

Mazzola scored an impressive goal with his chest off a cross from Ryan Lau, hit a low liner from distance and had a tap-in to complete the hat trick.

Playing their second game in as many days, Camden County mounted a late comeback and cut it to 3-1 on a penalty kick converted by Lautaro Berisso. The penalty was for a handball on the line that also reduced the Union U17s to 10 men. They were forced to do a lot of defending late but goalkeeper Ian Turnbull did well to turn away a number of chances for the visitors.

The Union U17s return to league play next weekend with a visit to DC United.
