For the second year in a row, Julian Carranza will be sitting out with a suspension after playing CF Montreal at Olympic Stadium.

The 22-year-old Argentine was sent off with a second yellow in the 69th minute Saturday night and will miss the Orlando City game on March 25 while serving a one-game suspension.

Carranza was sent off with a second yellow in the 71st minute in a 2-1 win for the Union at Olympic Stadium last season.

He now has 15 yellows and 2 red cards in his MLS career in 76 appearances.

The Union are already expected to be missing a number of players on international duty for the game next Saturday at Subaru Park. Losing Carranza will be an additional blow.
