The United States U-20s will face Ecuador, Fiji and Slovakia in Group B at the upcoming 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Argentina.

The U.S.’s opponents were revealed in the draw Friday morning in Switzerland.

Though the roster has not been released, the Philadelphia Union trio of Brandan Craig, Jack McGlynn and Quinn Sullivan are all in line to be part of the team. All three along with Medford, N.J. native Paxten Aaronson were on the team that qualified for both the World Cup and the Olympics at the Concacaf U-20 Championships last summer.

The U-20 World Cup was recently moved to Argentina from Indonesia. FIFA will release a complete tournament schedule with the order of group matches, venues and kickoff times in the near future.

The 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup features 24 countries divided into six groups of four teams. The top two finishers in each group, as well as the four best third-place teams advance to the Round of 16. From there, the tournament will feature a knockout bracket to the tournament final.
