90′- Red Bulls are appealing for a handball inside the box. The Red Bulls manager is livid and over next to the fourth official. The broadcast says he is shown a yellow card. The Union makes a sub bringing on Donovan, who replaces Carranza. We will have at least six minutes of stoppage time.

87′- Free kick for the Red Bulls from the left side of the penalty area. It is played into the center of the box and deflects out of the penalty area. Red Bulls get on the end and try to get another shot off but the Union clears it.

86′- A loud “Beat the Traffic’ chant breaks out in the Red Bull arena, and I don’t blame those people for leaving. In my experience, it takes forever to get out of there. It’s a step above leaving Subaru Park.

81′- Red Bulls bringing on new signing Ronald Donkor for his MLS debut. He replaces Nealis.

78′- Play is stop after two players go down. Union also make their second change of the night, bringing on  Bueno for Bedoya.

68′- Burke is shown a yellow card after he trips Blake, who comes off his line and goes down after a poor challenge by Burke.

66′- Play is stopped after Lowe goes down to the ground. He gets up and holds his left chest. But he stays on and continues in the game.

64′- Second sub of the night for Red Bulls as Barlow replaces Manoel.

63′- Red Bull increases their shot tally with multiple shots, including one by Tolkin that finds its way through traffic and is saved by Blake.

62′- Union making their first change of the night, bringing on Uhre for Sullivan.

59′- Red Bulls make a sub bringing on Carmona Torres to replace Fernandez.

58′- Free kick for the Union from the right side and close to the end line. Wagner’s service stays low and bounces around, eventually finding Harriel, whose shot is saved by the Red Bulls and out for a corner kick. Back to Back corners for the Union. The second one ended with a foul committed by the Union inside the box.

54′- Tolkin gets a free kick from the top left side. It is cleared out. However, the second chance ball curled back into play is a little more dangerous as Blake dives and punches it forward. It eventually goes out of play for a throw-in. Which gets defended well.

48′- Wagner is down, and the training staff is out to look at his leg.

46′- The game is back underway.

HALF

36′- Flach is shown a yellow after fouling Burke a few yards outside of the box, near the top left side of the box. Tolkin swings it into the wall, his second chance shot is sent into the net and out for a corner. The service is sent into the six-yard box and goes out of play after a punch by Blake.

31′- Gazdag stands over it and sends the ball to the bottom left, after Red Bulls goalkeeper Carlos Coronel starts to lean toward the right side of the net. Union 1-nil.

30′- After a while at the monitor, the referee Joseph Dickerson says penalty stands.

26′- Carranza gets a nice run, Nealis pulls Carranza back and then goes down. The ref points to the spot, and he is rushed by plenty of Red Bulls complaining about the pk. VAR is looking at it and the ref is going to the monitor.

25′- Referee tried to play advantage, but nothing was there so he stopped play. As soon as the whistle was blown, he also brought out a yellow card to show to NY’s Reyes.

10′- Blake with a big save to deny John Tolkin, whose shot came from within the 18 yard box.
