Chicago Fire rehires Frank Klopas as head coach
This will be the fifth time at the helm for Klopas, who was the Fire’s head coach from 2011-13 and also filled the job on an interim basis three times. He played for the Fire in their first two seasons (1998-99) and is a member of the Club’s Ring of Fire and the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame.

Stefan Frei officially signs new deal with Sounders
Frei, 37, will enter his 11th season with the Sounders after joining them ahead of the 2014 season in a trade from Toronto FC. He is coming off a season in which he allowed just .88 goals per game and posted 14 shutouts in the regular season.
