A year ago just as we were prepping for a new MLS season, we were informed that Vox Media would no longer be supporting Brotherly Game and many of the other incredible sites covering MLS teams as part of the SB Nation network.
The news came as a surprise and the timing wasn’t great but we were able to create the site you are reading this on now: Philadelphia Soccer Now and also launched the newsletter The River End. Many of the same people stayed on to support this effort and we had another enjoyable season covering the Philadelphia Union and soccer across different levels in the region.
Looking ahead to 2024 we plan to bring even more coverage of the beautiful game both that is free and available to all on the site and also exclusive coverage for members. Consider joining with a monthly or annual membership to support these efforts and enjoy the kind of in-depth coverage of soccer at all levels we work hard to provide.
