Daniel Gazdag passes Le Toux to set new Philadelphia Union goal scoring record
Daniel Gazdag headed home a cross from Quinn Sullivan in the 57th minute to pass Sebastien Le Toux as the all-time leading goal scorer in Philadelphia Union history on Tuesday night.
Gazdag’s 57th career goal in all competitions nearly came in the first half when Julian Carranza played the Hungarian international in but Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Andrew Thomas was there to deny him.
Le Toux was on the local radio call with Dave Leno for the match. He does still lead Gazdag by four goals in MLS league play (50-46) but that record likely won’t hold for long either.
One for the record books 👏
