Girls Academy standouts participate in Talent ID hosted by Sporting Athletic

About 160 players from 12 different clubs in the region were in Wilmington, Del. on Friday for the Girls Academy Mid-Atlantic Talent ID hosted by Sporting Athletic Club at Chase Fieldhouse.

Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals and Western PA club Beadling SC each had 20 players participating in the event, which featured training sessions and games at the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 age groups.

PA Classics had 13 players participating, Real Jersey FC had 9, SJEB FC had 8, Sporting AC had 8 and Keystone FC had 7. Western PA club Century United had 10 players representing the club.

Players also came from Baltimore Celtic, Baltimore Armour, Skyline FC and TSJ FC Virginia.

College coaches were on hand from Maryland, Villanova, La Salle, Temple, George Mason, Towson and many other schools. Coaches for the teams included Ukies coach Boomer Steigelman, Jeff Linebach from Keystone FC, Martin Wood from Real Jersey FC and Will Whity from PA Classics.
