McGlynn and Harriel called into final pre-Olympic U-23 camp
Jack McGlynn and Nathan Harriel are among the 25 players called into the final United States U-23 team training camp ahead of the Paris Olympics, leaving Quinn Sullivan yet again as an even bigger long shot to make the team.
Former Union atacker and Medford, N.J. native Paxten Aaronson is also on the 25-player roster for the camp in Kansas City, Kan., which includes a friendly against Japan on June 11 at Children’s Mercy Park.
The final roster needs to be trimmed down to 18 – 2 goalkeepers and 16 field players – and can include up to three over-age players. Nashville SC center back Walker Zimmerman is the lone over-age player that will be part of the camp in Kansas.
The U.S. Men’s Olympic Team will compete in the Olympics for the first time since 2008.
