The Chirila family now has another pro soccer player with younger brother Andrei Chirila joining Stefan Chirila in signing with the FC Cincinnati organization.

Andrei, 16, has signed an MLS Next Pro deal with FC Cincinnati 2.

Stefan Chirila, 17, signed an MLS Next Pro deal in May and will be added to the first team roster in 2025.

FC Cincinnati previously acquired the “homegrown priority” rights from the Philadelphia Union for Andrei, who is from Allentown, Pa. Like Stefan, he played previously in the Philadelphia Union Academy but joined the FC Cincinnati U18 team in August.

Both brothers are eligible to play for Romania. Their dad, Sorin Chirila, who played professionally in Romania, emigrated to the U.S. in 2002.
