It’s high school playoff time in Pennsylvania.

The PIAA District 1 brackets are set for both boys and girls with first round matches kicking off Tuesday and Wednesday.

Conestoga is back with two No. 1 seeds in hopes of another postseason run to back-to-back state finals in Mechanicsburg. Both the boys and girls teams are the top seed in Class 4A and have byes. The boys won the state title last year while the girls lost to Pennridge in the final.

Other Class 4A first round byes include: Unbeaten Henderson, 2023 state finalists CB South and Springfield Township on the boys side and defending state champions Pennridge, CB East and Garnet Valley on the girls side. Springfield Township moved up to Class 4A after making the Class 3A state final each of the last two seasons.

Radnor boys and Strath Haven girls are the top seeds in Class 3A while Pope John II girls and unbeaten Faith Christian are the top seeds in Class 2A. Faith Christian jumped to 2A after winning the District 1 final and being knocked out by Delaware County Christian in the state semifinal last year.

Reigning girls state champions Dock are the top seed in Class A while Calvary Christian is the top boys seed in Class A. Reigning Class A state champs Delaware County Christian are the No. 4 seed in Class A.
