FIFA World Cup Broadcast Schedule

Philadelphia is already confirmed as one of the host cities for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, and now we know the full lineup of nations that will be coming to town. The city is set to host six matches during the summer tournament, five group-stage games and one knockout-round match. All matches will be played at Lincoln Financial Field, which will be renamed Philadelphia Stadium for the duration of the World Cup.

This World Cup is historic for several reasons. The tournament expands from 32 to 48 teams for the first time, and it will also be the first World Cup co-hosted by three nations: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

The Philadelphia region will see major star power, headlined by Kylian Mbappé and France, who will play one of their group-stage matches in the city. France has won the World Cup twice, most recently in 2018. Another former champion, Brazil, will also take the field in Philadelphia. Their opponent will be Haiti, a team that has featured Philadelphia Union midfielder Danley Jean Jacques.

Below is the complete Philadelphia 2026 World Cup match schedule:

  • Sunday, June 14: Côte d’Ivoire vs. Ecuador (7 p.m.)
  • Friday, June 19: Brazil vs. Haiti (9 p.m.)
  • Monday, June 22: France vs. Winner of the Iraq/Bolivia/Suriname playoff (5 p.m.)
  • Thursday, June 25: Curaçao vs. Côte d’Ivoire (4 p.m.)
  • Saturday, June 27: Croatia vs. Ghana (5 p.m.)

In addition to the group-stage matches, Philadelphia will host a Round of 16 game on July 4th, adding yet another marquee event to the region during the United States’ 250th birthday celebration. The sports calendar for the region in 2026 is already stacked, with the PGA Championship, the NCAA Men’s Tournament early rounds, and the MLB All-Star Game all taking place in the Philadelphia area.

Unfortunately, the United States Men’s National Team will not play any of their group matches in Philadelphia. The USMNT will instead be based on the West Coast, with matches in Los Angeles and Seattle. Their group-stage schedule is below:

United States 2026 World Cup Matches

  • Friday, June 12: vs. Paraguay (9 p.m.)
  • Friday, June 19: vs. Australia (3 p.m.)
  • Thursday, June 25: vs. Winner of Kosovo/Romania/Slovakia/Turkey playoff (10 p.m.)
