West Chester United will get a rematch with Loudoun United back at YSC Sports in the first round of the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on March 17.

West Chester is the lone local team in the 2026 edition of the longest running soccer competition in the U.S. They automatically qualified by winning the 2025 USASA National Amateur Cup. The Philadelphia Union are not participating this year because they qualified for the Concacaf Champions Cup.

This will be the fourth straight year that West Chester United is hosting an Open Cup match at YSC Sports. They lost to Loudoun United 3-2 last year and lost to Maryland Bobcats in 2024 and the Ocean City Nor’easters in 2023.

The match is slated for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff and will be streamed live on U.S. Soccer’s YouTube channel.

All 32 first round matches will feature amateur vs professional teams for the third straight year.
