After suffering back-to-back losses on the road, Haverford needed a win to get back on track after their 28-match unbeaten streak was snapped and back into the Centennial Conference picture.

They did both thanks to an 85th minute goal from Austin Branch in a 1-0 Homecoming win over Washington College on Saturday afternoon at Walton Field. The win extended the Fords’ home unbeaten streak to 18 games and evened their Centennial Conference record at 2-2.

Sophomore forward Charles Sharp was credited with the assist on the goal, his third of the season to go with 8 goals. Branch’s goal was the first of his Haverford career.

Photographer Chris Coletti was on hand to capture the action.
