Haverford hosted rivals Episcopal Academy in the first of two games between the teams at the top of the standings in the Inter-Ac. Haverford goalkeeper Graham Costello came up big with a save in the first half and was strong on the day to deny the Churchmen while the Fords attack was also kept in check going the other way.

EA remained unbeaten on the season while improving to 4-0-1 in league play and 9-0-1 overall while the Fords improved to 3-1-1 in Inter-Ac play and 10-1-1 overall.

Haverford was ranked No. 3 and Episcopal No. 8 in the latest Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association poll. The teams will meet for the annual EA Day at Episcopal on November 14.
