Halftime Recap: Union trail by a goal
Caleb Calvert’s first MLS goal has the Rapids ahead at the half.
With the first 45 minutes gone, the last-place Colorado Rapids are leading the Philadelphia Union by one.
Caleb Calvert got his team off the mark a third of the way through the half, running unopposed into the Union’s final third and blowing a shot past a clueless Andre Blake.

The Union’s best chance came eight minutes later, when Ilsinho forced a kick-save out of Tim Howard. Fabian Herbers, who teed up Ilsinho’s shot, was subbed off moments later with a groin injury. Chris Pontius manned the right wing in his stead.
