Story stream: 2017 Summer Transfers

The 2017 Summer Transfer Window is slated to open on July 10 and remain open until August 9. This is for trades that involve players only – players may be signed on a free transfer prior to the window opening, and deals may be struck prior to the window opening that will be honored when the rules allow. The Philadelphia Union should be considered buyers during this summer’s transfer window, however if the right offer came along for a player they would not seem to be in much of a position to turn it down.
