The Union let more points slip away, but it’s a point they’ll definitely take. The Union held on to a 1-1 score in Toronto as Toronto dominated possession, but managed just two shots on frame. It was a rare solid defensive performance from the Union that desperately needed one against a dangerous team. Alejandro Bedoya opened his MLS account with a beautiful chip goal over the leap of Clint Irwin, but Toronto equalized when back Justin Morrow sliced home a shot from a difficult angle.
