Looking ahead to what would have been their 25th season before USL League 2 made the decision to cancel, Reading United wanted to give a fresh look to their iconic train logo.

So they turned to a former intern, graphic designer Eryin Wandel.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, which is never a given any time a new design is released online.

I caught up with Eryin before the shutdown and the cancelation of the season to talk about the process and the project that brought the former Brotherly Game contributor back into the soccer world that was a critical part of his development as a young designer.
