Confirmed: The Crew signs veteran Bradley Wright-Phillips
Last season with LAFC, Wright-Phillips played in 18 games, making 14 starts, and scored eight goals and registered six assists as the backup to Rossi. Although he will turn 36 early in the 2021 MLS season, Wright-Phillips will add a level of experience and scoring acumen that the Crew has never had in a backup striker.

Report: Nashville SC set to sign Uruguayan youth international Rodrigo Pineiro
Pineiro, who can play centrally or out wide, has three goals and three assists in 20 games across all competitions for the Primera Division club. He only joined Danubio this year after being under contract at Penarol, the same side from which LAFC forwards Diego Rossi and Brian Rodriguez arrived in MLS.

Tommy McNamara will return to Revs in 2021
McNamara was acquired in a trade with the Houston Dynamo and went on to appear in 14 games for New England in 2020 where he tallied two assists in the regular season.

Patrick Seagrist traded to Miami for draft pick, allocation money
New York Red Bulls announced a trade with Inter Miami FC for the contract rights to defender Patrick Seagrist, recently put on waivers after having his contract option declined by New York.

Concacaf Champions League will expand in 2023, capitalize on regional rivalries
While President Montagliani didn’t get into specifics, he emphasized that the continental club competition will have “more games, more often, more relevancy.” Montagliani pointed to rivalries across Concacaf that he believes are ready to reach another level, with CCL games possibly carrying even more excitement.
