Philadelphia Union to open first Concacaf Champions League campaign in early April
Concacaf announced dates for the 2021 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League on Friday afternoon. The draw will be held February 10 and the two-leg Round of 16 will be played April 6-8.
Union earn top mark from MLSSoccer.com’s SuperDraft grades
While the Union selected zero players they were busy with the SuperDraft. The club’s No. 19 overall selection was used to acquire homegrown outside back Nathan Harriel with the pick going to Orlando City SC. The Union’s second and third round picks (as well as the 2022 first round pick) were shipped to Nashville SC for up to $225,000 in General Allocation Money.

Jordan Morris officially joins Swansea City on loan
The deal is structured as a six-month loan with an option to buy at the end. Although Morris won’t be available for Saturday’s FA Cup match, he’s expected to be eligible for Wednesday’s match against Brentford.
Austin FC sign free agent forward Kekuta Manneh
A seven-year MLS veteran, Manneh arrives in Austin after spending the second half of the 2020 season with the New England Revolution, where he had one goal and one assist in six appearances (two starts). His contract option was declined by the Revs at the end of the season.

Juventus were close to signing Reynolds earlier in the window but encountered complications due to having filled their non-EU allowance for this season. There were talks of Juventus signing Reynolds and then loaning him to Benevento, but that move stalled.
