Philadelphia Union opens training camp, announces preseason schedule

Union will scrimmage Orlando City, Chicago Fire and an opponent to be announced in Florida

The Philadelphia Union unveiled their preseason schedule today after their first official day of training camp at 76ers Fieldhouse in Wilmington.

The team will remain in market through March 11 and leave for Clearwater, Fla. on March 12. They’ll play Orlando City and Chicago Fire in closed door scrimmages at Joe DiMaggio Field before returning home March 24.

They are scheduled for a third closed door scrimmage against an opponent to be announced on March 31 at Subaru Park. They open their 2021 campaign at Deportivo Saprissa in Costa Rica for the first leg of the Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 on April 7 and return home for the second leg on April 14.
