The Philadelphia Union II competition platform still hasn’t been unveiled, but they are continuing to train and schedule friendlies as they look ahead to their first season in the new MLS reserve league.

After beating West Chester United 3-1 in a friendly at YSC Sports last Saturday they’ll take on FC Motown this Sunday and have scheduled a friendly at USL Championship club Hartford Athletic for April 21.

The FC Motown match will be closed to spectators.

FC Motown competes in the NPSL and the Northeast Elite Soccer League and will have a team in USL League Two for the first time this summer.

Union II has scrimmaged other NESL teams like Christos FC, West Chester United and Vereinigung Erzgebirge since their season in USL Championship ended in the fall.

UPDATE: USL Championship club Loudoun United, DC United’s second team, announced two dates with Union II on Friday. They’ll host on April 3 and visit Subaru Park on April 25. Friendlies were also announced on Friday against Vereinigung Erzgebirge on March 21 at 1 p.m. and Richmond Kickers on March 27 at 1 p.m., both at the Power Training Complex.
