Despite rusty performance, Philadelphia Union earned valuable minutes in 115-minute preseason match
The Union started the same lineup as in last week’s 1-0 loss to Orlando City with a center back pairing of Jack Elliott and Jakob Glesnes, Anthony Fontana in the number ten role, and Jack De Vries up top alongside Kacper Przybylko while Sergio Santos and Cory Burke recover from injuries.

Martínez suffered what looked like a major left leg or foot injury midway through the first half.

After struggling mightily to put together any kind of threat going forward in the first half the USA finally broke through on a Jackson Yueill goal around the hour mark. Two more goals from second half subs Hassani Dotson and a fourth from Djordje Mihailovic turned the game into a rout.

Uriel Antuna gave the hosts all the scoring they needed in the sixth minute as he slotted home a right-wing cross from Sebastian Cordova past goalkeeper Kevin Chamorro.
