Former Union defender Sheanon Williams will be part of NYCFC broadcast team

Williams will be a guest commentator on pregame, halftime and postgame segments

A familiar face will be joining Dave Leno on the pregame, halftime and postgame segments of the PHL17 broadcast of tomorrow’s Philadelphia Union game against NYCFC.

Sheanon Williams, who joined the Philadelphia Union in August of their inaugural season after starting the season with Harrisburg City Islanders, made 141 appearances for the Union from 2010-2015.

He finished out his career with the LA Galaxy in 2018 after stops with the Houston Dynamo and Vancouver Whitecaps.

He’s still involved with the game locally as a youth soccer coach.

The pregame show will kick off starting at 7 p.m. ET on for free for all viewers within the Philadelphia Union DMA as well as on the Union’s social pages.
