Gazdag likely won’t be able to report to the team until some time this summer with the visa process still slowed from the Covid-19 pandemic and his inclusion on the Hungary roster for the European Championship. Hungary begins group play on June 15.

Subaru Park opening to near full capacity on June 23
Capacity at Subaru Park is 18,500, but has been limited to 5,000 fans this season. The game on June 23 will be the first game with full capacity allowed since the stadium was renamed Subaru Park in early 2020. The Union will still have designated areas that will enable social distancing for fans.

Champions League final to be hosted in London or Lisbon
While sources have told ESPN that Wembley Stadium is UEFA’s favoured option to stage the game, the failure so far of the United Kingdom’s government to relax its regulations that require arrivals into the country to quarantine for 10 days makes it impossible for the Champions League final to be moved to London due to as many as 2,000 UEFA staff and sponsors, and international broadcast rights holders, needing to be at the game.
