Take a bow, Mr. Rafanello.

Former Philadelphia Union Academy and FC Delco standout Jeremy Rafanello scored his fourth goal of the season for the New York Red Bulls II from waaaayyy out in a match against Sacramento Republic Saturday.

The Delran native’s goal didn’t have much an impact on the game — Red Bull II was trailing 3-0 at the time and the final was 3-1 — but his strike in the 62nd minute will not soon be forgotten.

Unsurprisingly, the goal has been nominated for the USL Championship Goal of the Week.
