Rosters for the 2021-2022 MLS Next season for the Philadelphia Union Academy have been posted on PhiladelphiaUnion.com.

The rosters show the additions and subtractions to the U13-U17 teams, which includes promotions within and departures to other area academies and teams.

Not including the new additions to the U13 team, there are about three dozen changes to the rosters that include promotions to the first team (Quinn Sullivan and Brandan Craig), to Union 2 (Anthony Ramirez, Ian Abbey, Jackson Gilman, Owen Moore and Samuel Jones) and to the Union Development Squad (Robert Myrick, Sam Fenton, Sam Graham, Sebastian Brandt and Zakary Kandoussi).

Notable departures include Dylan Lacey (2005-born midfielder) going to the New York Red Bulls and Dominic Wilson (2006-born forward). Departures to other MLS Next teams include Ryan Lau (2004), Caden Grabfelder (2005), James Soler (2008) and Matheus De Paula (2008) going to FC Delco and Dylan Falcone (2006) and Emerson Kekesi (2006) going to Real Jersey FC.

Additions include Diego Rocio (2007-born forward) from San Diego SC, Christopher “CJ” Olney (2006-born midfielder) from PDA, Gabriel Oksanen (2006-born defender) from San Diego Surf, Harvey Smith (2008-born) from NJ Premier and Zach Mastrodimos (2007-born midfielder) from Cedar Stars Bergen.

Twelve players were promoted from last year’s U12 roster to the U13 team and are joined by newcomers Jason Hunt, Will Swartzendruber, Aaron Wesseh and Colin Stolnis.
