After conceding seven straight goals without a response to rivals West Chester United in two USL League Two games, Philadelphia Lone Star had two big goals in a three-minute span to erase a two-goal halftime deficit and earn a 2-2 draw on Tuesday night at YSC Sports near King of Prussia.

Just after halftime, Lone Star erased the two goal advantage – Colin Davis scored off a corner kick and Josh Pulla scored his third goal against Lone Star this season – thanks in large part to the play of Aboubacar Camara, who set up the first goal for Mamadou Diarra and added his equalizer two minutes later. Lone Star had two big chances to take the lead – one on a turnover and another off a great play in midfield by captain Marco Bla and substitute Daniel O’Sullivan – but both attempts hit woodwork.

Lone Star goalkeeper Flannan Riley came up big when called upon with a couple key interventions on dangerous free kicks and a point blank save late in the second half. Playing 10 days after they were blown out 5-0 to open the season, Lone Star fielded a stronger and more confident lineup that was able to win more battles in midfield and limit chances from open play.

It made for an entertaining and at times end to end play in front of a lively crowd at YSC.
