‘Voice of Soccer’ JP Dellacamera to speak at Lancaster Inferno gala
Recognized as the original voice of soccer, beloved announcer JP Dellacamera is visiting Lancaster County to speak at the Kicking It Forward Gala on February 1.
Dellacamera was the recipient of the Colin Jose Media Award and inducted in the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2018 for his 40 year career announcing and covering the beautiful game on radio and tv. His work includes announcing 17 FIFA World Cups (10 men and seven women), three Olympic Games, MLS, NWSL, and more. He was the lead play-by-play announcer for the Philadelphia Union for 13 years.
During his long career, the legendary announcer has had the opportunity to observe first-hand the growth and development of soccer in the United States.
Dellacamera will be sharing his unique perspective of the journey of women’s professional soccer in the US (past, present, and future) with guests at the Kicking It Forward Gala.
Attendees of the gala will be able to meet JP and special guest Carrie Taylor (USL Technical Director, Women’s Pathway).
